Carson Palmer Fourth QB To Throw 100 TDs With Two Teams

Carson Palmer connected with Larry Fitzgerald on Monday night for his 100th touchdown pass as a member of the Arizona Cardinals.

Palmer is the fourth quarterback to throw at least 100 touchdowns with two different teams.

The other three were Kurt Warner (Rams and Cardinals), Fran Tarkenton (Giants and Vikings) and Peyton Manning (Colts and Broncos).

The Arizona Cardinals have the NFL's oldest group of 22 starters in the NFL. The Cardinals' average age of their starters was 28.41 years old, or 0.77 years older than any other team. The Cardinals feature Carson Palmer (37), linebacker Karlos Dansby (35), wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald (34), defensive lineman Frostee Rucker (33), center A.Q. Shipley (31), tackle Jared Veldheer (30), guard Mike Iupati (30) and safety Tyvon Branch (30).

The Cleveland Browns have the youngest group of starters with an average age of 24.4.

The Baltimore Ravens, Miami Dolphins, Carolina Panthers and Los Angeles Chargers round out the top-5 of the oldest teams in the NFL.

Joining the Browns in the bottom-5 of youngest starting lineups are the New York Giants, Houston Texans, Jacksonville Jaguars and Pittsburgh Steelers.

The Arizona Cardinals have re-signed Chris Johnson.

With David Johnson out for three to four months, the Cardinals need more depth at running back.

Arizona cut Chris Johnson shortly before the start of the season. Johnson didn't impress during the preseason, carrying 13 times for 41 yards (3.2 yards per attempt) with a fumble.

David Johnson will undergo wrist surgery and is expected to miss the next two to three months.

Johnson suffered a dislocated wrist in Week 1.

Johnson rushed 293 times for 1,239 yards and 16 touchdowns in 2016 to go with 80 receptions for another 879 yards and four touchdowns.

David Johnson could undergo surgery on his dislocated wrist which would force him to miss three to four months. Johnson would likely miss two to four weeks if he doesn't undergo surgery.

Johnson is meeting with wrist specialists and a decision is expected within the next two days.

David Johnson Suffers Sprained Wrist

David Johnson suffered a wrist injury in the third quarter of the Arizona Cardinals loss to the Detroit Lions.

Johnson's x-rays came back negative but he'll undergo an MRI on Monday to determine the extent of the injury.

ESPN's Chris Mortensen reported the MRI will determine whether Johnson will miss a few weeks or half the season or more.

The Cardinals will rely Kerwynn Williams and Andre Ellington if Johnson misses time.
