The Cardinals signed Stewart Bradley to a five-year, $25 million contract last July.
Bradley received a $5 million signing bonus, yet wound up playing less than 20 percent of Arizona's defensive snaps.
In order to keep his roster spot entering year two of the deal, Bradley has agreed to a $2.5 million pay reduction.

Report: Fitzgerald Wants Cardinals To Draft Floyd
Larry Fitzgerald hopes the Cardinals are able to add help at wide receiver during this week's NFL Draft.
Fitzgerald told Peter King of Sports Illustrated that he would like the Cardinals to draft Notre Dame receiver Michael Floyd with the No. 13 pick.
Floyd has emerged as the second-best receiver prospect in this year's draft class behind Oklahoma State's Justin Blackmon.
Cardinals Didn't Communicate Interest In Manning To Kolb
Kevin Kolb doesn't blame the Cardinals for courting Peyton Manning, but he wishes the team had communicated with him better while the highly publicized process was ongoing.
The quarterback has since talked with coach Ken Whisenhunt about his concerns.
"Without getting into too much detail about our conversation, I just said in the future if you can just communicate with me, I can take it, if this is the route you're going," Kolb said.
"I'd just rather hear it from him than the ticker. He agreed. That's how relationships grow and that's where we're heading."
Cardinals-Saints To Kick Off Preseason Slate
The NFL has announced its schedule of nationally televised 2012 preseason games, with the Cardinals and Saints kicking things off.
The two teams will square off in the Pro Football Hall of Fame Game on Sunday, Aug. 5 in Canton, Ohio.
