Jimmy Graham Returns To Saints After Eight-Year Absence

Jul 25, 2023 2:34 PM

Jimmy Graham has signed with the New Orleans Saints after an eight-year absence.

Graham had some of the most successful years of his career with the Saints before he was traded to the Seattle Seahawks in March 2015. The Saints sent Graham and a 2015 fourth-round pick to Seattle in exchange for veteran center Max Unger and a 2015 first-round pick.

"Maybe I'll get the respect of my daughter back because she killed me when we traded him years ago," general manager Mickey Loomis joked. "That was her favorite player. I think she'll be excited."

Graham did not play in 2022 after spending the 2020 and 2021 seasons with the Chicago Bears. He also played for the Green Bay Packers in 2018 and 2019.
