The Chicago Bears have signed Robbie Gould to a four-year extension that runs through the 2017 season.

Gould will be among the highest paid kickers in the NFL.

Gould was undrafted out of Penn State in 2005 and was actually in camp that season behind Adam Vinatieri with the New England Patriots.

Jon Kitna has signed with the Dallas Cowboys, coming out of retirement who last played in the 2011 season.

Kitna will donate his NFL paycheck to Lincoln High School in Tacoma. Kitna teaches math and coaches football at Lincoln.

Kitna's son, Jordan, was starting quarterback this season.

Kitna will serve as Kyle Orton's backup if Tony Romo is unable to play.

The New England Patriots have again signed Austin Collie.

Collie was signed in October by the Patriots, but he was quickly released.

Collie will help the Patriots at wide receiver with Aaron Dobson and Kenbrell Thompkins dealing with injuries.

The Cleveland Browns have signed Caleb Hanie.

The Browns are dealing with concussions to both Jason Campbell and Brandon Weeden.

Hanie backed up Jay Cutler for four seasons with the Chicago Bears and was Peyton Manning's backup last season.
