Steven Jackson Denies Assault Allegations

Aug 5, 2014 1:07 AM

Steven Jackson said Thursday that allegations from a former girlfriend that he assaulted her when she was nine months pregnant are "not true." Supriya Harris filed a complaint with Las Vegas police alleging that an "enraged" Jackson threw her to the ground, bloodied her and then ordered her to conceal the alleged abuse from hospital officials. Jackson, in a statement on his website, denied the allegations: "The accusations are especially hurtful because those who truly know me know that those actions would be out of character for me. Miss Harris is the mother of my son, a son that I love and that I willingly support emotionally and financially. I will address this matter thoroughly through the appropriate avenues, but not through the media."
