Despite difficult contract talks with the New York Giants this offseason, Saquon Barkley says he still wants to finish his career with the franchise.

"Oh, yeah. I don't think that really changed," Barkley said. "They know how I feel. I'm not really too focused on that right now."

The running back agreed to a one-year deal worth up to $11 million this season after the two sides failed to reach a long-term pact.

Barkley admits he was "bothered" by "some of the stuff" that transpired during talks. Before the July 17 deadline to reach agreement on a long-term deal, Barkley accused the Giants of "misleading" and "untruthful" leaks about negotiations that he felt portrayed him as "greedy."

The Arizona Cardinals have moved on from 2020 first-round pick Isaiah Simmons with about two weeks left until Week 1.

Arizona traded Simmons, now a safety, to the New York Giants for a 2024 seventh-round pick the Cardinals announced.

Quarterback Aaron Rodgers, who hasn't played in the preseason since 2018, will make his New York Jets debut Saturday against the New York Giants in the preseason finale, a source confirmed Sunday.

Rodgers, 39, has participated in every training camp practice, but he watched from the sideline as backup Zach Wilson started the first three games. The four-time MVP will get a quick tuneup before the Jets face the Buffalo Bills in the Sept. 11 season opener on "Monday Night Football."

Rob Gronkowski has no plans to come out of retirement, but if he did, the tight end says there's only one coach that could get him out on the field.

"[New York Giants head coach] Brian Daboll wants me on his roster, I know it," Gronkowski told Kay Adams.

The 34-year-old said even though he likes to think he could still compete on a roster, the reality is a bit different.

"He can't get me out of retirement, but he would have the best chance to get me out of retirement," Gronkowski said of Daboll.

Daniel Jones has turned down a request to appear on Season 2 of the Netflix docuseries, Quarterback.

"I'm not doing it," Jones told WFAN's "Boomer and Gio" on Monday. "Yeah, I've been asked."

Jones said it was his decision and was not influenced by the New York Giants.

Trevor Lawrence, Dak Prescott, Tua Tagovailoa, Justin Fields, Geno Smith and Jalen Hurts are among quarterbacks who have said they turned down Season 2 of the show.

The average NFL franchise has increased in value by 24 percent over the past 12 months reaching $5.14 billion.

Collectively, the NFL’s 32 teams are worth $165 billion, including team-related business and real estate held by owners.

The Dallas Cowboys rank first in the NFL and across all sports leagues globally at $9.2 billion. The Cowboys had an operating profit of $460 million in 2022.

The New York Giants and Los Angeles Rams rank second and third at $7.04 billion and $6.98 billion respectively. The New England Patriots and San Francisco 49ers round out the top-5.

Anthony Barr left Tuesday's visit with the New Orleans Saints without a deal, despite reports that an agreement was imminent.

The linebacker is setting up workouts with more teams, including the New York Giants.

Barr did pass a physical with the Saints.
