The New York Giants have agreed to a one-year deal with Parris Campbell, according to sources.

The wide receiver's deal is worth up to $6.7 million.

Campbell appeared in 17 games for the Indianapolis Colts in 2022, totaling 63 receptions for 623 yards and two touchdowns.

Darren Waller says he was surprised by this week's trade that sent him from the Las Vegas Raiders to the New York Giants.

The tight end signed a three-year contract extension with the Raiders last fall.

"I did not see this coming," Waller said. "I was getting ready to just do everything I could to make myself available for the Raiders and get ready for everything that was going to start in mid-April. It caught me off guard, but it's the nature of the business."

The Las Vegas Raiders are trading Darren Waller to the New York Giants, according to sources.

The report states that New York will send a third-round pick (No. 100) to Las Vegas for the tight end.

The New York Giants are expected to sign Sterling Shepard to a one-year deal, according to sources.

Shepard tore the ACL in his left knee in September, after tearing his Achilles the previous season. He's also dealt with knee, concussion, ankle, quad and hamstring injuries throughout his career.

The wide receiver, who turned 30 in February, has missed 33 games in the past four seasons, but said earlier this year there was zero doubt that he would be back for this upcoming season. 

The New York Giants and Daniel Jones came to an agreement on a four-year, $160 million contract just before Tuesday's deadline to use franchise tags.

Per the report, Jones can earn another $35 million through incentives, which pushes the contract's value to close to $200 million.

The exact structure of the contract isn't yet known. Full details will reveal how early the Giants might be able to move on from Jones without much financial responsibility.

He's believed to be receiving $82 million in guaranteed money.

The New York Giants have used their franchise tag on Saquon Barkley, according to sources.

The move was made just ahead of the Tuesday afternoon deadline.

Barkley will make $10.091 million in 2023 under the franchise tender.

With the franchise tag deadline looming, the New York Giants met with Saquon Barkley’s representation Monday, according to a report.

In addition to Barkley, Daniel Jones is a candidate for the Giants' franchise tag as well.

The report says general manager Joe Schoen had a "positive meeting" with the running back's camp.
