Marshall Trying To Recruit Flynn To Miami
Brandon Marshall says he has reached out to Matt Flynn about coming to the Dolphins to play quarterback.
"You've got some guys in the draft, but there's not too many guys out there just walking the streets," Marshall said.
"Matt is available. ... We've talked. I reached out to him. I get it from Ray Lewis. Around this time of year, players talk to players."
Flynn has served as the backup to Aaron Rodgers in Green Bay, but is set to hit the open market.

Brad Childress is the frontrunner to become the offensive coordinator for the Browns, according to a report in the Cleveland Plain Dealer.
The Plain Dealer, citing a league source, reported that the Browns had narrowed their search to Childress and Mike Sherman, but Sherman is close to becoming the offensive coordinator for the Dolphins.

Philbin, who had been with the Packers since 2003 and was team's offensive coordinator since 2007, said Miami "will play an aggressive, up-tempo, attacking style" but he doesn't plan to run a carbon-copy of Green Bay's system.
"There are certain characteristics of the offense that are going to come down here," he said. "(But) we're not just going to take the playbook, copy it and change Green Bay to Miami."
