Rice defensive end Cheta Ozougwu is this year's Mr. Irrelevant after the Texans took him with the 254th and final pick of the NFL draft Saturday. The "irrelevant" moniker is traditionally given to the last pick. "It's a big relief," Ozougwu said. "I'm blessed to have this opportunity. No matter what was going to be the outcome, whether it's free agency or being the last pick or being a fifth-round pick, I just wanted the opportunity to play the game."

Texans wide receiver Andre Johnson has gotten a clean bill of health after battling a high-ankle sprain in his right foot during the 2010 season. Johnson told the Miami Hurricane that he recently received medical clearance after having arthroscopic surgery on Jan. 12.
