The Philadelphia Eagles have acquired Golden Tate from the Detroit Lions for a third-round pick.

Tate, 30, signed with the Lions before the 2014 season and is in the final year of his contract.

He had 90 catches in each of his four full seasons with Detroit and had 1,000 yards in three of those years.

The New York Giants have agreed to trade defensive tackle Damon Harrison to the Detroit Pistons for a fifth round pick.

The 29-year-old Harrison is in his seventh year in the league. He signed a five-year, $46.25 million contract with the Giants in 2016.
