Ravens wide receiver Donte Stallworth will likely miss eight weeks of action after breaking his foot in Saturday night's preseason game against the Giants. The injury probably occurred during one of Stallworth's three punt returns. "The good news is it is not a season-ending injury," Ravens coach John Harbaugh said. "We'll get it operated on right away and put a screw in it. Hopefully, we'll get him back by the bye week [Oct. 31]."

Manning practiced Monday afternoon wearing a blue Giants baseball cap instead of a helmet because of recently-removed stitches on his forehead. "I liked his tempo right away," coach Tom Coughlin said. "He got the ball out of his hand quick and made some real good decisions. So we're glad to have him back on the practice field." Manning expects to be able to wear a helmet on Wednesday.
