Ryan Fitzpatrick Can Become First QB To Lose To 31 Different Teams

May 24, 2021 9:51 AM

Ryan Fitzpatrick can come close to losing to each of the NFL's 32 teams this season.

Fitzpatrick has lost to 28 different teams as a starting quarterback in his career. Of the four teams he hasn't lost to, three are on Washington's schedule this season -- the Green Bay Packers, New Orleans Saints and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

If Fitzpatrick loses to those three teams, he'll have lost to an all-time record 31 teams. He hasn't lost to the Detroit Lions, who aren't on Washington's 2021 season.

Seven QBs have lost to 30 teams in NFL history: Drew Bledsoe, Drew Brees, Brett Favre, Matt Hasselbeck, Jon Kitna, Carson Palmer and Alex Smith.

May 24, 2021 9:54 AM

Dan Snyder told TMZ Sports on Thursday that the Washington Football Team has "big plans" for a new home and intends to open its next stadium by 2027.

"We're touring stadiums," he said outside of SoFi Stadium, the new Los Angeles home of the Chargers and Rams. "We're coming (to the) West Coast and touring, about 12 of us, looking to build a new venue back home, in D.C. or Maryland. So we're everywhere ... looking at the future ... We're making big plans. Coming soon to Washington."

Snyder added that the Football Team -- which has FedEx Field in Landover, Maryland, under lease until 2027 -- has yet to finalize a location for its next home.

Washington Releases Starting RT Morgan Moses

May 21, 2021 9:13 AM

The Washington Football Team has released starting right tackle Morgan Moses after granting him permission to seek a trade earlier in the week.

Washington saves $7.75 million in salary-cap space by releasing Moses. The move will result in $1.9 million in dead cap room.

They signed left tackle Charles Leno, Jr. earlier this month and drafted tackle Samuel Cosmi in the second round.

Moses has started every game for Washington since 2015, almost exclusively at right tackle, although he had to start one game on the left side in 2020.
