The Saints have released veteran defensive tackle Hollis Thomas, according to the Associated Press.
Thomas, 35, missed the first half of last season after hurting his triceps in training camp.
He is a 13-year veteran, having spent his first 10 seasons with the Eagles.

Moore And Evans Sign Tenders With Saints
Saints wide receiver Lance Moore and guard Jahri Evans have signed their tendered one-year contract offers, General Manager Mickey Loomis said Friday.
Evans agreed to a one-year, $2.792 million contract and Moore a one-year deal worth $1.545 million. Both were restricted free agents.
Saints Sign Linebacker Anthony Waters
The Saints have signed linebacker Anthony Waters, a third-round pick of the Chargers back in 2007.
Waters played in eight games for San Diego last season, including one postseason contest.
Saints Looking At RBs Moreno, Wells
The Saints, who have the 14th overall pick in this month's NFL Draft, could consider selecting a running back.
Georgia's Knowshon Moreno and Ohio State's Chris "Beanie" Wells have been mentioned as possibilities.
When asked by the Times-Picayune in March if the Saints had addressed enough of their defensive needs in free agency to draft a running back, coach Sean Payton said, "I think that's fair to say."
Nissan Removes Cars From McAllister's Lot
Nissan began removing cars from a dealership owed by running back Deuce McAllister on Tuesday.
About 20 vehicles were removed from the lot, as McAllister continues to seek investors willing to help pull the dealership out of bankruptcy.
"Nissan financing has every right to protect the vehicles," McAllister said. "What they choose to do with them is their business. There's obviously a lot more to the story, but we'll see how this shakes out."
McAllister filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection last month.
Bush Prepared To Be The 'Man' For Saints
Reggie Bush is prepared to be the main man for the Saints in the running game this season.
Bush believes that New Orleans is finally willing to use him as their main option after they released Deuce McAllister in February.
"They're looking for me to be the guy back there," Bush said Sunday, "By the moves that they're making, it definitely speaks volumes to me as to what I need to prepare myself for."
