Tyreek Hill Expected To Miss 4-6 Weeks

Sep 11, 2019 8:59 AM

The Kansas City Chiefs expect Tyreek Hill to miss 4-6 weeks with a collarbone injury, according to sources.

That means Hill should avoid injured reserve, which would have held him out a minimum of eight weeks.

The Chiefs wide receiver left Sunday's game versus the Jacksonville Jaguars after suffering a clavicle injury that required Hill to be taken to a Jacksonville hospital.

Tyreek Hill suffered a posterior SC (sternoclavicular) dislocation that was reduced at the hospital. The SC joint is where the collarbone meets the sternum. Hill will miss several weeks with the injury.

Sammy Watkins had a career-high 198 yards in the first half of the game with Hill out.

Tyreek Hill Agrees To Three-Year, $54M Extension With Chiefs

Sep 6, 2019 1:21 PM

Tyreek Hill has agreed to a three-year, $54 million extension with the Kansas City Chiefs.

Hill will receive $35.5 million in guaranteed money with a $5.8 million signing bonus.

The shorter length of the deal benefits both sides given Hill's off-the-field issues and his ability to hit the market again sooner.
