Browns Considered Frontrunner To Sign Jadeveon Clowney

May 26, 2020 11:34 AM

Charles Robinson of Yahoo! Sports predicts Jadeveon Clowney will eventually sign with the Cleveland Browns.

“I still think it’s the Browns,” Robinson said when asked which team has the most interest in Clowney.

“When are you going to have the 12-to-14 sack season? You haven’t done that. We’re not going to pay you like you’re a 15-sack guy. You want $20 million (a year), that’s a 12-to-15 sack guy every single year.”

Clowney could be forced to sign a one-year deal.

“I think the Browns are interested in (Clowney) longer term than that,” said Robinson.

Odell Beckham, Jr. Predicts 2020 Season Will Be Among His Best

May 5, 2020 8:49 AM

Odell Beckham, Jr. is predicting big things in 2020.

"Right now what I'm trying to do is hit the reset button," the Cleveland Browns wide receiver said in a video posted to his YouTube channel. "Being able to just get everything fixed. Shoulder, arms, back, everything aligned, functional, moving properly, so I can begin training to be ready for the season.

"I would honestly say this is probably going to be one of my best seasons. Bigger, stronger, faster -- this is my time."

Beckham underwent surgery Jan. 21 to address a hip and groin injury that slowed him last season.

"So last year I was training in June and July, and I was kind of just feeling stuff around the groin area, abs and stuff like that," he said. "My third week of training camp, I tear a little piece of my ab. So before the season, I kind of had the hernia thing going on. Sports hernia is what they call it. End up at the end of the season, torn abductor, torn rectus abdominis on the right.

"So pretty much, I was just f---ed up the whole year. I really didn't try and say anything about it. Probably one of the worst surgeries I've ever had. Recovery's going well. Guess I'm really just trying to put my body back together. I've been playing for 23 years, so for me, I'm trying to put it all back together in seven months."

Beckham had 74 catches for 1,035 yards and four touchdowns in 16 games with the Browns.
