The Cleveland Browns have Kareem Hunt training with their wide receivers this offseason during the club's virtual program.

Last season, Hunt had as many catches as carries.

"There has been a lot of interaction among us, a lot of crossover, that has been really helpful," wide receivers coach and passing game coordinator Chad O'Shea said.

Baker Mayfield Says He'll 'Absolutely' Kneel During Anthem

Jun 15, 2020 1:11 PM

Baker Mayfield plans to kneel during the national anthem this upcoming season to support protests of social injustice, police brutality and racism.

The Cleveland Browns quarterback responded to a post from a fan on Instagram that pleaded with him not to kneel, he replied: "Pull your head out. I absolutely am."

Mayfield has been outspoken about the need for more understanding and justice in the nation following the killing of George Floyd.

"Everybody so upset about my comment doesn't understand the reason behind kneeling in the first place," Mayfield later posted. "I have the utmost respect for our military, cops, and people that serve OUR country. It's about equality and everybody being treated the same because we are all human. It's been ignored for too long and that it my fault as well for not becoming more educated and staying silent."

Myles Garrett, Browns Open Up Extension Talks

Jun 12, 2020 1:08 PM

The Cleveland Browns and Myles Garrett have engaged in contract extension discussions.

Garrett has two seasons remaining on his existing deal.

Fellow 2017 NFL draft class member Christian McCaffrey has already signed an extension after three seasons.

After 10 sacks in as many games last year, Garrett is widely viewed as one of the game's most feared pass-rushers.

"We do see Myles as a long-term member and pillar in our organization," general manager Andrew Berry told 105.7 the Fan Baltimore last month. "Great player, great person. Obviously, he did make a mistake last year that he's learned from. But our confidence in and faith in Myles has not wavered and we're looking to seeing what he does this year and certainly for years to come.''
