Joe Burrow believes the Cincinnati Bengals' run to Super Bowl LVI will prepare them to compete in the AFC going forward.

"Going into last year, we knew we were good, but I think going into the playoffs, we knew we could win but we weren't really sure what it took," Burrow said. "We just went out there and played really hard and together as a team, and it worked out.

"Now, we know what it takes and we have that experience in our back pockets going forward."

Jessie Bates has no plans to sign the franchise tag with the Cincinnati Bengals, according to a report.

The safety won't sign the one-year, $12.91 million deal or play this 2022 season without a long-term deal.

The two sides have until July 15 to work out a new pact.
