Bengals' quarterback Carson Palmer won't need surgery on his right elbow and should be ready for Cincinnati's offseason workouts. The latest MRI on Palmer's elbow indicates he won't need an operation to repair a ligament and tendon partially torn from the bone.

The Bengals could sign running back Cedric Benson to a long-term deal after his success in the second half of the season. Benson had 130 total yards or more in each of his last three starts.
