Cardinals offensive tackle Oliver Ross has taken a $1 million pay cut for this season but can make it back through an incentive clause, according to NFL sources.
Ross, due to make $2.8 million this year, now will make $1.8 million, according to the NFL Players Association documents and those with knowledge of his agreement. Under the new agreement, he could earn $1 million through an incentive that likely involves playing time.
Ross' agent, Alan Herman, could not be reached for comment, and Cardinals officials declined comment. Two sources, however, confirmed that Ross had taken the pay cut.
