The Colts suspended punter Pat McAfee on Wednesday, a little more than 12 hours after he was arrested for public intoxication. Indianapolis police said McAfee took a pre-dawn swim in a city canal and told them "I am drunk" as he tried to explain why he was sopping wet in a Broad Ripple neighborhood.

Bengals defensive end Antwan Odom has been suspended four games for violating the NFL's policy on performance-enhancing substances. The suspension takes effect immediately. He faced a suspension earlier this season but appealed, which slowed the process.

The Jets are getting wide receiver Santonio Holmes back after he finished serving a four-game suspension for violating the NFL's substance-abuse policy. He will be eligible to return to the Chargers? active roster on Monday, November 1 following the team?s October 31 game against the Titans.
