Patriots Blowout Rams 45-7 In London (+21.6 TC, +6 TRC)

The New England Patriots improved to 5-3 with a 45-7 win over the St. Louis Rams in London.

The Patriots had a +21.6 advantage in The Trench Counter, averaging 8.4 yards per pass, 5.4 yards per rush while recording 12 additional first downs and posting a +2 in the takeaway battle. New England had a +6 edge in  Total Rushes/Completions.

Tom Brady went 23-for-35 for 304 yards and four touchdowns, connecting twice with both Rob Gronkowski and Brandon Lloyd.

Stevan Ridley rushed 15 times for 127 yards and a touchdown, while Shane Vereen also had a goalline score.

The Rams took an early lead on a Chris Givens touchdown from Sam Bradford, who went 22-for-30 for 205 yards. But the Patriots then scored the next 45 points of the game.

The Green Bay Packers defeated the St. Louis Rams by a final score of 30-20 in a game that wasn't as close as the final score indicated.

The Packers had a +3.2 advantage in The Trench Counter, averaging 9.0 yards per pass compared to 7.2 for the Rams. Green Bay had a +13 edge in Total Rushes/Completions.

Aaron Rodgers went 30-for-37 for 342 yards and three touchdowns, finding Jordy Nelson eight times for 122 yards and a touchdown and Randall Cobb eight times for 89 yards and two touchdowns.

Sam Bradford went 21-for-34 for 266 yards with a touchdown and an interception.

Steven Jackson rushed 12 times for 57 yards and a touchdown.

The Miami Dolphins improved to 3-3 with a 17-14 win over the St. Louis Rams.

The Dolphins had a -10.3 deficit in The Trench Counter, as they were outgained 6.7-to-3.9 on a yards per play basis. St. Louis also had a +14 edge in Total Rushes/Completions.

Ryan Tannehill was 21-for-29 for 185 yards and two touchdowns.

The Miami running game didn't fumble away the ball, but rushed for just 1.1 yards per carry.

Sam Bradford went 26-for-39 for 315 yards, but the Rams had to settle for too many field goal attempts. 

Greg Zuerlein was 2-for-5, including a potential game-tying miss from 66 yards.

Danny Amendola Expected To Miss Six Weeks

Danny Amendola is expected to miss about six weeks with an injury to his collarbone, a league source said.

Amendola entered the game with 31 receptions, second in the NFL, with two TDs and an 11.3-yard average.

Amendola suffered what the team believes is a sternoclavicular joint separation. While the injury is expected to sideline Amendola six weeks, he could return earlier.

Steven Jackson Negotiates Out In Contract Following Season

Steven Jackson had wanted an extension with the St. Louis Rams, but talks ultimately went nowhere.

Instead, Jackson and the Rams agreed for him to receive an out in his contract after the 2012 season.

Jackson is due to make $7 million in 2013 if he decides to remain with the Rams.

But Jackson can now explore free agency.

The Arizona Cardinals lost their first game of the 2012 season, dropping a 17-3 decision to the St. Louis Rams.

Sam Bradford was 7-for-21 for two touchdowns and one interception, while Steven Jackson rushed 18 times for 76 yards.

Kevin Kolb went 28-for-50 for 289 yards, connecting with Larry Fitzgerald eight times for 92 yards.

The Cardinals had success sustaining drives, but the Rams' defense failed to break.
