The Buccaneers have given safety Tanard Jackson a contract extension and a nice raise for the rest of this season, according to a league source.

Buccaneers running back LeGarrette Blount will not play against the Bears in London on Sunday, according to coach Raheem Morris. Blount took a hit on his left knee in a Week 5 loss to the 49ers and missed the win over the Saints.

Buccaneers safety Tanard Jackson, who served a league-imposed suspension for more than one full year, has been reinstated, according to a league source. Jackson was suspended Sept. 22 of last year for violating the league's substance abuse policy. The 26-year-old also was suspended for the first four games of the 2009 season for violating the substance abuse policy.

The NFL's 32 team owners will decide Tuesday whether Arizona will host Super Bowl XLIX in 2015. The other city in the running is Tampa. The NFL, in a new approach this year, invited only two locations to compete for its showcase game.
