Justin Fields continued to make his case as the top quarterback from the 2021 draft class after reaching historic heights during Chicago's 35-32 loss to the Miami Dolphins.

The Bears quarterback set multiple NFL and franchise records on Sunday. His 178 rushing yards are the most by a quarterback in a regular-season game in the Super Bowl era, surpassing the previous high set by former Falcons quarterback Michael Vick (173) in 2002.

After trading for Bradley Chubb, the Miami Dolphins have finalized a five-year, $119 million contract extension with the linebacker, according to sources.

The deal includes $63.2 million in guaranteed money.

Miami acquired Chubb from the Denver Broncos on Tuesday for a 2023 first-round pick, a 2024 fourth-rounder, 2025 fifth-round selection and Chase Edmonds.

Chubb, 26, was in the final year of the rookie contract he signed in 2018.

The Miami Dolphins have acquired Jeff Wilson from the San Francisco 49ers for a 2023 fifth round pick.

Wilson became expendable for the 49ers after their trade for Christian McCaffery. 

The Miami Dolphins have agreed to acquire Bradley Chubb from the Denver Broncos for a first round pick from the 49ers, a fourth round pick in 2024, and Chase Edmonds. The Dolphins will also acquire a 2025 fifth rounder.

The Dolphins are expected to sign Chubb to a long-term contract.
