The Miami Dolphins have fired head coach Brian Flores, per sources.

Miami started the season 1-7, but finished 8-1 to narrowly miss the postseason.

Ryan Tannehill downplayed his desire to beat the Miami Dolphins leading up to Sunday's game, but A.J. Brown says the quarterback very much wanted to defeat his former team.

Tannehill was a first-round pick of the Dolphins in 2012. He was traded to the Tennessee Titans in 2019.

“All we ever heard Ryan say anything about the Dolphins was the last little drive," Brown said. "He wanted to go put it on them."

Tennessee defeated Miami 34-3, clinching a playoff berth in the process.
