Dion Jordan will apply for reinstatement to the NFL this Wednesday.

Jordan said he "never" had a drug problem and hasn't used any illegal substances for over two years.

He has been suspended three times during his brief NFL career.

Peyton Manning Visits Dolphins, Tutors Ryan Tannehill

May 9, 2016 10:20 AM

Peyton Manning visited the Miami Dolphins' headquarters to meet with Adam Gase and also share some knowledge with Ryan Tannehill.

Gase was previously offensive coordinator with the Denver Broncos and Manning.

“It was really cool,” Tannehill told me. “A guy that had his career, the living legend he is, coming off a Super Bowl winning season ---  it was really cool just to be able to sit and pick his brain about things he's done in this offense and football things in general: snap counts, things you like, the way you want guys to run routes, little details about the game. We really just got to talk the game, which is something we both love.”

Manning gave Tannehill some nuances of the Gase offense.

“At that time, we weren't able to meet with the coaches or anything, so I didn’t really have a great handle yet,” Tannehill said. “So I wasn't really able to dive into the playbook too much. So I had a few questions [for Manning]. If he comes back now, we can have a completely different conversation.”

May 8, 2016 9:22 PM

Cameron Wake has signed a two-year extension with the Miami Dolphins worth $15 million.

The deal could grow to $17 million for the 34-year-old.

It is the highest guarantee ever given to a pass-rusher more than 33 years old. As part of the five-year, $33 million contract he signed in 2012, Wake was slated to make $8.275 million in 2016.

Wake, a four-time Pro Bowl selection, joined the Dolphins in 2009 after playing two seasons in the Canadian Football League.
