Jacksonville Jaguars left tackle Cam Robinson is facing a suspension for violating the NFL's performance-enhancing drug policy, according to a source.
The NFL is awaiting the results of Robinson's B sample before deciding on the length of the potential suspension.
This would be Robinson's first offense, and he could be suspended for two, six or eight games depending on which prohibited substance was found.
Robinson, who is entering the second season of a three-year, $52.75 million contract extension he signed in May, missed the final three games of the 2022 regular season and both Jaguars playoff games after suffering a knee injury.
Veteran defensive lineman Corey Peters has announced his retirement after 12 NFL seasons.
Peters, 34, played in 12 games with the Jacksonville Jaguars last season.
"Sincerely, I never imagined that I would continue playing football professionally for this long," Peters posted to Instagram. "I'll always be appreciative of the time I've had, but now is the time to take on a fresh challenge. I'm not sure what's coming up, but I'm excited to see where life takes me!"
The Atlanta Falcons selected Peters in the third round of the 2010 draft out of Kentucky.
