Wearing protective padding around his midsection, Ben Roethlisberger returned to Pittsburgh's lineup against the Jaguars on Monday night, barely two weeks after an emergency appendectomy. He was far from effective, though, and Jacksonville's defense had a lot to with that.
The Jaguars harassed Roethlisberger, held Willie Parker to 20 yards on 11 carries and ended the defending Super Bowl champions' nine-game winning streak with a 9-0 victory -- the lowest-scoring game in Monday Night Football history.

He has four practices to prove he is ready to play.
Jags' Williams Apologizes
Jacksonville Jaguars cornerback Brian Williams, arrested last weekend on drunken-driving charges, apologized for his actions Friday.
"It's unfortunate that it occurred," Jaguars coach Jack Del Rio said Friday. "I'm sure he's embarrassed by it. I'd like for us to deal with it head-on and put it behind us as soon as possible. Dealing with the incident will be plenty of punishment."
Jags Corner Arrested On Suspicion Of Drunk Driving
On September 2nd, Jacksonville Jaguars cornerback Brian Williams was charged with driving under the influence.
Williams was arrested after his 2006 black Bentley swerved toward a police car and caused the officer to hit a curb, according to a Jacksonville Sheriff's Office report.
Williams was "profane and cursing the entire time he was in the back seat of the police car," arresting officer Ernest Bridges wrote. "The suspect used racial slurs continuously on the trip to the jail."
