Texans defender J.J. Watt took batting practice with the Houston Astros on Friday.

Watt hit five home runs during the session.

The right-handed hitter had three of his five home runs hit a facade in left field, according to Houston's public relations staff. Another struck a billboard in left.

Punter Shane Lechler agreed to terms Friday with the Texans, and said in a phone interview he will sign the contract Saturday. His departure from the Raiders is not a surprise.

"When I had zero contract talks throughout the year, or to this date -- to now -- yeah, I figured it was done," Lechler said.

ESPN reported Lechler would receive a $1M bonus and a maximum of $5.5M over three seasons.

Brian McCain has agreed to a three-year deal to return to the Houston Texans.

McCain played in 12 games with two starts at cornerback last season.
