Texans Open Up Possibility Of J.J. Watt Returning For Playoffs

Dec 16, 2019 11:55 AM

The Houston Texans opened up the possibility of J.J. Watt returning from injured reserve in the postseason.

Watt suffered a torn pectoral muscle earlier in the season. The Texans' pass rush has subsequently suffered without Watt.

"J.J. is working very very hard," said Bill O'Brien on Monday. "He's certainly made progress based on his work ethic and who he's working with in the training room. We will see how it goes."

Jadeveon Clowney: I Didn't Ask Texans For Trade, More Money

Dec 3, 2019 9:31 AM

While discussing his departure from the Houston Texans, Jadeveon Clowney clarified how things ended with the team that drafted him.

"People say, 'He was trying to leave.' That's a lie. I didn't ask them to trade me," the Seattle Seahawks defender said. "I didn't even ask them to pay me any more. I just wanted to play one last year with my teammates. But hey, it's part of the business. It was a business move, and I got the short end of the stick at the time. Now? It looks like I got the big end of the stick."

The Texans traded Clowney to the Seahawks on Sept. 1.
