The Detroit Lions have acquired Everson Griffen from the Dallas Cowboys for a conditional sixth round pick.

The Cowboys signed Griffen in August after his long tenure with the Minnesota Vikings.

Griffen is considered one of the NFL's better veteran pass rushers.

A New Orleans Saints player had a positive COVID-19 test Saturday, but sources said a retest came back negative and that contact tracing found negative tests among those players as well.

The Saints will move forward with their Week 4 game on Sunday against the Detroit Lions.
