The Arizona Cardinals have agreed to a two-year, $8 million deal with Mike Glennon, according to multiple reports.

Glennon had been released by the Chicago Bears.

He spent four seasons with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers before signing a three-year, $45 million deal with the Bears just a year ago. Glennon lasted as Chicago's starter for just four games before he was replaced by Mitch Trubisky.

Glennon was scheduled to make $12.5 million as Trubisky's backup before he was released.

The Arizona Cardinals have informed Tyrann Mathieu that they will release him.

It had been reported that the team would restructure the safety's contract to keep him in the fold.

The Baltimore Ravens are expected to sign John Brown to a one-year deal, according to a report.

The 27-year-old wide receiver has totaled 173 receptions for 2,515 yards and 17 touchdowns for the Arizona Cardinals over the last four seasons.

The Arizona Cardinals are expected to sign Sam Bradford, according to reports.

The market for quarterbacks is tightening with Case Keenum headed to the Denver Broncos, Drew Brees returning to the New Orleans Saints and Kirk Cousins expected to sign with the Minnesota Vikings.

Ian Rapoport has reported that Bradford will make $20 in 2018. The contract also includes a $20 million option for 2019.

The Arizona Cardinals are expected to release Adrian Peterson.

Peterson, 32, would be owed a $750,000 bonus if still on the roster Friday, the third day of the new league year.

There is a chance he could re-sign with the Cardinals at a later date.

Benie Wells is seeking treatment for a brain injury he belives was caused by playing football.

Wells said he had been absent from his radio show in Columbus, Ohio as he sought medical advice and treatment in California. Wells has experienced headaches and some speech and memory problems.

"I have some plaque separation," Wells, 29, told his co-host Tim Hall on "The Tim and Beanie Show.' "And when you have that plaque separation, it shows that you experienced some sort of traumatic brain injury. Obviously that traumatic injury for me would come from playing football. Not only that. They had some cells tacked on to that separated plaque that I needed to get under control.

"I'm still not out of the woods yet, but it's coming. I'm hopeful."

Wells played for Ohio State from 2006 to 2008.

Wells spent four seasons in the NFL with the Cardinals.

The Denver Broncos, Arizona Cardinals, New York Jets and Minnesota Vikings are expected to be the finalists to sign Kirk Cousins.

Last season, Cousins topped the 4,000-yard mark for the third straight season. He finished with 4,093 yards, 27 touchdowns and 13 interceptions -- and a total QBR of 52.3, his lowest as the full-time starter.

Cousins played the last two seasons for Washington on a franchise tag. Rather than negotiate a final time with Cousins, however, Washington traded for Alex Smith on Jan. 30, agreeing to a four-year extension with the veteran.

The Broncos and Vikings would likely give Cousins the best odds of competing for a spot in the playoffs.
