Mike Zimmer Joins Deion Sanders' Staff At Colorado

Deion Sanders has confirmed that Mike Zimmer will have a role on his staff at the University of Colorado.

Zimmer served as an analyst for Sanders at Jackson State in 2022.

Former Florida State head coach Willie Taggart also is joining the Colorado staff.

Zimmer was the defensive backs coach of the Dallas Cowboys from 1995-99 when Sanders was a cornerback for the team.

Jim Harbaugh Announces He Will Remain At Michigan

Jim Harbaugh announced he will return to Michigan as head coach for the 2023 season after discussing NFL jobs with various teams for the second straight year.

"I love the relationships that I have at Michigan -- coaches, staff, families, administration, president Santa Ono and especially the players and their families," Harbaugh said in a statement. "My heart is at the University of Michigan. I once heard a wise man say, 'Don't try to out-happy, happy.' Go Blue!"

Harbaugh interviewed with the Denver Broncos and also had a conversation with Carolina Panthers owner David Tepper.

Harbaugh called the Broncos on Monday to inform them he was remaining at Michigan.

C.J. Stroud Leaves Ohio State For 2023 NFL Draft

C.J. Stroud has declared for the 2023 NFL draft, leaving Ohio State after his redshirt sophomore season.

Stroud is expected to be a top-five pick in the draft.

"The process has been difficult," Stroud said in his announcement, "and the decision, one of the hardest I've ever had to make. As a kid, I dreamed of playing football at the highest level and after much prayer, I've made the decision that it's time to turn those dreams into a reality."

Michigan TE Luke Schoonmaker To Enter NFL Draft

Michigan tight end Luke Schoonmaker has decided to enter the 2023 NFL Draft.

Schoonmaker is a fifth-year senior with one year of eligibility remaining. 

He is currently projected as a second-round pick, scouts told ESPN after the tight end's declaration.

"Coach [Jim] Harbaugh and a lot of the offensive coaches have given me the confidence that I'm ready for the next level, and I've developed into a complete tight end," Schoonmaker said. "I'm at that point where I can now begin the process for the next level. With that guidance and the guidance of others, it's that time."

John Harbaugh Releases Statement He Expects To Remain At Michigan

John Harbaugh and Michigan released a statement indicating he plans to return to Michigan as head coach next season.

Harbaugh reportedly had a conversation with David Tipper of the Carolina Panthers.

"As I stated in December, while no one knows what the future holds, I expect that I will be enthusiastically coaching Michigan in 2023," Harbaugh said in the statement. "I have spoken with President Santa Ono and Athletic Director Warde Manuel and appreciate their support of me and our program."

Harbaugh previously interviewed with the Minnesota Vikings after the 2021 season.

Jim Harbaugh Discusses Panthers' Job With David Tepper

David Tepper had a conversation with Jim Harbaugh about his interest in becoming head coach of the Carolina Panthers.

The conversation was not characterized as an interview.

Steve Wilks has done an excellent job as interim head coach and will be a strong candidate for the job.

Harbaugh has "sincere interest'' in the Carolina job, according to FOX Sports Charlotte. Harbaugh has coached Michigan since he parted ways with the San Francisco 49ers after the 2014 season.

The Panthers fired Matt Rhule early in the season.

Bryce Young, Will Anderson Jr., Jahmyr Gibbs Leave Alabama For Draft

Alabama edge rusher Will Anderson Jr., running back Jahmyr Gibbs and quarterback Bryce Young announced their intentions to enter the 2023 NFL Draft.

Young won the Heisman Trophy in 2021.

Anderson led the FBS in sacks in 2021 with 17.5 and followed that up with 10 more sacks in 2022, along with a pick-six. 

Gibbs had 926 yards and seven touchdowns to go with 444 yards receiving and three more touchdowns receiving.
