The Jets are expected to sign veteran quarterback Mark Brunell, but the New York Daily News reports that the team's players aren't thrilled.
A poll by the Daily News revealed that a majority of Jets' players prefer Kellen Clemens to Brunell as the team's No. 2 quarterback behind Mark Sanchez.
"Brunell? Isn't he like 50 years old?" said one player of the three-time Pro Bowl, who will turn 40 in September.

"It's over," he said of his time playing in Southern California. "That was kinda, for me, closing that chapter of my career in San Diego. Kinda like it's dead and a new birth is being born with the Jets logo being put on my other calf."

Jets Expect Big 2010 Out Of Sione Pouha
Shaun Ellis was asked which of his Jets teammates he believes is poised for a breakout 2010.
"Sione (Pouha)," replied Ellis. "He?s already broken out to me, but I think everyone?s going to realize how good of a player he is. Bulger's Deal May Drive Up Brunell's Price
The Ravens gave Marc Bulger $3.8 million to be Joe Flacco's backup, which may drive up the market price of other veteran quarterbacks.
Mark Brunell has been linked to the Jets and Rich Cimini of ESPNNewYork.com believes that Bulger's deal could increase how much Brunell will eventually sign for.
"Many figured Brunell would sign for the minimum ($860,000 for a player with his experience), but now you have to wonder," Cimini writes.
