Ryan: Jets Are Built For Super Bowl
Jets coach Rex Ryan says that his team is built for a Super Bowl run.
"Specifically I felt we needed to get another corner to match up with New England," Ryan said of the team's offseason. "So we drafted Kyle Wilson also and that was to try to beat New England and Indianapolis and whoever else got in our way.
"We tried to build our team to win a Super Bowl and we thought to win a Super Bowl you have to beat New England. We'll see if that blueprint works or not. We beat them once already."

Both the Patriots and Jets won on Thanksgiving and they'll have extra time to prepare for one another heading into their Week 13 battle.
New York coach Rex Ryan has hyped the Dec. 6 showdown against New England and Bill Belichick as a championship-caliber boxing match.
"There are a lot of really good coaches in this league, but there's only one guy that's the best," Ryan said. "I like a challenge. It motivates you. It's like anything else, almost like going into a championship fight. You're going to have to fight the best guy.
"I pride myself on being a good football coach," he continued. "With the guys that I have around us, I feel confident. But I'm still not in Bill Belichick's class, and I know that. But I know one thing: He's going to get my best shot."
Ryan is 2-1 against Belichick as a head coach.
Owens Says Revis Is 'Average Corner'
Bengals wide receiver Terrell Owens says that Jets defender Darrelle Revis is just an "average corner."
Cincinnati and New York will face off on Thursday night.
Owens called Revis a "slouch" last offseason and has painted him as a one-year wonder.
"Just an average corner to me," said Owens. "Everybody has assessed his abilities as far as what he did last year, shutdown corner, this and that. He did very well last year. But I think I'm looking forward to the challenge just like he's looking forward to the challenge.
"I'm not going to back down from anyone. I know my skill set. Last year we played, I know why I didn't perform to the best of my abilities. It's going to be a great game on Thursday."

Shannon Brazzell, the executive director of Tomlinson's foundation, said he'd hoped Tomlinson could meet the 8-year-old and his family after Sunday's Jets-Texans game at the New Meadowlands Stadium.
The Jets offered to fly the family to New Jersey to watch a game in a luxury suite at the New Meadowlands Stadium and receive autographed memorabilia from coach Rex Ryan and players. But the child's family turned down the offer.

Braylon Edwards will make his first return trip to Cleveland on Sunday and is not expected to be warmly received.
"For the people that don't like me, I share the same feeling," said Edwards. "I don't like them as well. I could give you a B.S. answer, but the short and skinny of it is that I'm going back there to handle business.
"I left there with a bitter taste in my mouth, and I'm going back there for some satisfaction. They can see it for how they want it. They can read it for how they want it. Just know that 17's coming to work when we play next week."
