The Rams will hold a private workout with Colt McCoy before next month's NFL Draft, according to a league source.
St. Louis is expected to take Oklahoma quarterback Sam Bradford with the first overall pick, which makes their interest in McCoy noteworthy.
Report: Bradford Could Refuse Pre-Draft Contract With Rams
Oklahoma quarterback Sam Bradford could refuse a pre-draft contract with the Rams, according to Pro Football Talk, which cited multiple league and media sources.
In the past four years, the only top pick not signed prior to the draft was Oakland's JaMarcus Russell, who held out into the regular season.
If Bradford declines a pre-draft agreement, he could slide to the Redskins with the fourth pick, at worst.

The Rams are expected to use the first overall pick on Oklahoma quarterback Sam Bradford, but they won't make a final decision until after the team holds a private workout for him on April 19, according to a team source.
Bradford went through his first public workout on Monday in front of the Rams and other NFL teams at Oklahoma's pro day in Norman.
Raiders, Cardinals, Rams Deny Interest In McNabb
The St. Louis Rams, Arizona Cardinals and Oakland Raiders all answered no, either publicly or privately, when asked Thursday if they were thinking about trading for the Philadelphia Eagles' six-time Pro Bowl quarterback.
Rams coach Steve Spagnuolo shot down a Philadelphia Inquirer report that the team had offered a second-round draft pick (No. 33 overall) and free safety Oshiomogho Atogwe to the Eagles for McNabb.
"There's nothing to that," Spagnuolo said, according to the St. Louis Globe-Democrat. "We're not involved in that. At this time of year, there are going to be all kind of things thrown out there. But no, there's nothing to it."
League sources indicated to La Canfora on Wednesday that the Cardinals, Oakland Raiders and Buffalo Bills are interested in McNabb. Several executives on other clubs pointed to the Raiders as being in the heaviest pursuit, although two unnamed team executives told the Oakland Tribune on Thursday that they weren't aware of any calls to the Eagles about McNabb.
Fraley Agrees To Terms With Rams
Free-agent center Hank Fraley has cancelled a scheduled visit with the Chiefs and agreed to terms on a deal with the Rams.
Fraley, 32, was cut earlier this offseason by the Browns.
He played for the Eagles earlier in his career at a time when Rams head coach Steve Spagnuolo and offensive coordinator Pat Shurmur were on Philadelphia's staff.
Redskins Contact Rams About DL Carriker
The Redskins are interested in acquiring defensive lineman Adam Carriker from the Rams, according to league sources.
Washington has reportedly contacted St. Louis about a possible trade.
New Redskins defensive coordinator Jim Haslett, who coached Carriker in St. Louis, would like to add him as Washington transitions to a 3-4 scheme, according to team and league sources.
Rams Agree To Deal With Fred Robbins
As expected, the Rams have reached a contract agreement with defensive tackle Fred Robbins.
A source said that Robbins could make $12 million over three years with incentives.
Robbins played with the Giants for six seasons, including part of the time St. Louis coach Steve Spagnuolo was New York's defensive coordinator.
Rams Close To Signing Fred Robbins
The Rams are getting close to signing free-agent defensive tackle Fred Robbins to a multi-year contract.
Robbins has spent his last six seasons with the Giants.
Rams, Feeley Reach Two-Year Pact
The Rams have added quarterback A.J. Feeley via a two-year, $6 million contract.
The addition of Feeley gives the Rams four quarterbacks currently under contract: Marc Bulger, Keith Null, Mike Reilly and Feeley.
Feeley has not thrown an NFL pass since 2007 and over his nine-year career has thrown only 665 times.
Source: Rams, Eagles Discuss McNabb
The Rams have had conversations with the Eagles about quarterback Donovan McNabb, a source told the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.
The trading period begins next week with the NFL Draft looming in mid-April.
St. Louis could get some high-round picks as compensation for their free agents, including Alex Barron, which could help them put a package together for McNabb.
