According to a Yahoo.com report, the Rams named Al Saunders their new offensive coordinator on Wednesday. He was fired by the Redskins after two seasons in the same position.
This will be the second go-around for Saunders in St. Louis. He was an assistant with the team from 1999-2000 under Dick Vermeil and was on the staff that guided the Rams to their first Super Bowl victory after the 1999 campaign.

Georgia Frontiere Dies At Age 80
Georgia Frontiere, the St. Louis native who became a hometown hero when she brought the NFL's Rams from Los Angeles in 1995, died Friday. She was 80.
Frontiere had been hospitalized for breast cancer for several months, the Rams said in a statement posted on their Web site.
"Georgia Frontiere was the first lady of sports in her native St. Louis," NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell said in a statement that also praised her philanthropy and concern for retired NFL players.
Rams Shake Up Coaching Staff, Fire O-Coordinator
The St. Louis Rams fired Offensive Coordinator Greg Olson and Offensive Line Coach Paul Boudreau on Monday following a 3-13 season.
Rams' spokesman Rick Smith confirmed the firings and then declined comment on reports that Cam Cameron, fired as coach of the Miami Dolphins, was among the candidates being considered as Olson's replacement.
The Rams ranked 24th in total offense (297.5 yards per game), 28th in points (16.4 per game), and 27th in touchdowns (27).
