Richardson: Andrew Luck Is A Rocket Scientist

Trent Richardson had just 35 yards on 13 attempts in his debut with the Indianapolis Colts, but he did score a touchdown.

Richardson also raved about playing with Andrew Luck.

“First of all, Andrew is the smartest person I have ever met,” Richardson said. “He’s a rocket scientist. This man has about four or five audibles in one play. He is the man. First pick of the draft and the third pick, it’s a blessing.”

The Browns have traded former first-round pick Trent Richardson to the Colts for a first-round pick, according to a league source.

Richardson rushed for 950 yards and a Browns rookie record 11 touchdowns last season.

The previous regime of the Browns drafted Richardson.

The Miami Dolphins improved to 2-0 with a 24-20 win at the Indianapolis Colts.

The Dolphins had a +0.3 advantage in the Trench Counter, averaging 8.7 yards per pass and committing no penalties in the game. The Colts had a +1 edge in Total Rushes/Completions.

Ryan Tannehill went 33-for-34 for 319 yards and one touchdown to Mike Wallace.

Lamar Miller bounced back from an ineffective Week 1 with 14 carries for 69 yards and one touchdown.

Andrew Luck went 25-for-43 for 321 yards, one touchdown and an interception while rushing four times for 38 yards. T.Y. Hilton caught six balls for 124 yards.

Vick Ballard suffered a torn ACL during Thursday's practice and will be out for the rest of the season.

Ballard was the Indianapolis Colts' starting running back ahead of Ahmad Bradshaw and Donald Brown.

Ballard rushed for 63 yards on 13 carries and was on the field for 71 percent of the Colts' Week 1 snaps.

Dion Jordan Touts Record Against Luck While At Oregon

Dion Jordan touted his record against Andrew Luck and Stanford during his time at Oregon. Jordan was on the field for two blowouts by the Ducks against Stanford while Luck was at the school.

Jordan's Miami Dolphins play Luck's Indianapolis Colts in Week 2.

Jordan was the No. 3 overall pick in the 2013 NFL Draft.

"Yeah, me and Luck know each other pretty well," Jordan told reporters this week. "I never lost to Andrew Luck. I don't plan on it."

Andrew Luck's 19-yard touchdown run inside of six minutes allowed the Indianapolis Colts to come from behind to survive a Week 1 scare from the Oakland Raiders.

The Colts had a +4.4 edge in The Trench Counter, mainly from winning the turnover battle 2-0. The Raiders had a +8 advantage in Total Rushes/Completions.

Andrew Luck went 18-for-23 for 178 yards, two touchdowns and the aforementioned score on the run. Reggie Wayne caught all eight of his targets for 96 yards and a touchdown.

Terrelle Pryor went 19-for-29 for 217 yards, a five-yard touchdown pass to Denarius Moore and 112 yards on the ground.
