Texans wide receiver Andre Johnson and Titans cornerback Cortland Finnegan have each been fined $25,000 but not suspended in the wake of Sunday's fight.
Johnson and Finnegan exchanged punches late in Houston's 20-0 victory over Tennessee.
Finnegan set off the brawl by jabbing at Johnson's neck and face mask at the line of scrimmage. Johnson ripped off Finnegan's helmet and landed at least two punches to Finnegan's head and neck.
The two spun each other, and Finnegan tore off Johnson's helmet before players and referees intervened.
"He kept doing little things and I told him: 'Just because you're frustrated, you need to stop what you're doing,' " Johnson said. "I guess he thought it was funny."

Johnson, Finnegan Ejected After Fight
Texans wide receiver Andre Johnson and Titans cornerback Cortland Finnegan were ejected after an on-field fight on Sunday afternoon.
Houston defeated Tennessee 21-0 and the pair were ejected in the fourth quarter.
Finnegan set it off by pushing up Johnson's face mask at the line of scrimmage. Johnson ripped off Finnegan's helmet and landed at least two punches to Finnegan's head and neck. Finnegan tore off Johnson's helmet before players and referees intervened.
The game was delayed for five minutes after the incident.
Schaub Hospitalized With Knee Injury
Texans quarterback Matt Schaub spent the night in the hospital and missed Wednesday's practice with a bursa sac injury in his right knee.
Houston coach Gary Kubiak said the injury will not require surgery and he expects Schaub to practice on Thursday and start on Sunday against the Jets.
"Everything should be OK," Kubiak said. "I expect him here tomorrow. If that's the case, and he's doing what he normally does, he'll be out there."
Texans Give Up On Cushing Experiment At Middle Linebacker
Brian Cushing has moved back to the strong side linebacker position after the Texans attempted to make him a middle linebacker.
?Whatever the coaches ask me to do, I?m going to do it,? Cushing said after practice Wednesday. ?If (coach Gary Kubiak) asks me to play Sam, I?ll play Sam. If it?s Mike, then I?m Mike.
?Sam is where I?ve made the majority of my plays. I?m going be back at the position that I need to be.
?I think the coaches could see the frustrations that I had. I didn?t feel that anything was wrong, but I didn?t feel like I was really playing the game that I can.?
Kubiak's Job Remains Safe
The Texans have no plans to fire head coach Gary Kubiak.
"That's not how we run this ship," owner Bob McNair said Monday night. "Gary's doing a good job. Replacing him doesn't help you catch more balls."
Houston is 4-4 after starting the season 2-0.
"You're always going to be criticized if you don't win every game," McNair said. "That's just part of it. If you win, the criticism goes away.
"I think he's doing fine. He's not out there making the blocks and catching the ball, and that's what hurt us. If you replace the coach, will it be easier for the guy who missed the block to make it? I don't think so.
"If he was making bad decisions, if he wasn't managing the team and if the players weren't playing hard, that would be cause for concern. But our players are playing hard."
Gates Hopes To Face Houston
Chargers tight end Antonio Gates still hopes to face the Texans on Sunday despite a toe injury.
Gates is listed as doubtful on San Diego's injury report and no player with that designation has played for the team this season.
Missing Sunday's game would mark the first time Gates has sat out in his NFL career.
"I know it sounds like a tape recorder," Gates said. "We just have to wait to see how I feel."
