More than 20 players from the Bears were denied entrance at a nightclub in Chicago on Monday.
The incident took place during a "Rookie Night" tradition that features veterans treating the rookies to a night on the town.
Lance Briggs, Devin Hester, Brian Urlacher and others were denied entry by three bouncers at "Angels & Kings," which is co-owned by "Fall Out Boy" lead singer Pete Wentz.
"I do know that we didn't get in," Briggs said Thursday. "I know that it's a place I've been before, and for whatever reason, 25 Chicago Bears couldn't get in."
That reason, according to a statement by the club, was because an outside vendor was hosting a private event.

Bears Release Charles Grant
The Bears have released defensive end Charles Grant after signing him earlier this month.
Grant, who had signed a one-year, $755,000 contract, was inactive for Chicago's last two games.
"I guess the last one in is the first to go," Grant told the Chicago Tribune. "I guess they were looking for something different. I appreciate them bringing me in, but I didn't even get a chance to get on the field."
Cutler Cleared To Practice
Bears quarterback Jay Cutler has been cleared to practice and is expected to start on Sunday against the Seahawks.
Caleb Hanie will backup Cutler with veteran Todd Collins serving as Chicago's No. 3 quarterback.
Cutler suffered a concussion last week and missed Chicago's most recent game.
Cutler Out, Bears To Start Collins At QB
With Jay Cutler continuing to recover from a concussion, the Bears made the decision to start veteran Todd Collins on Sunday against the winless Panthers, according to an ESPN.com report.
Collins said Bears coach Lovie Smith delivered the news late Thursday morning. But given his exposure to concussions over a 16-year NFL career, Collins said he expected it.
Peppers: Panthers Tried To Make Me Look Bad
Bears defensive end Julius Peppers says that the Panthers disrespected him and tried to make him look bad.
Peppers described his departure from the team that drafted him as "a little sour."
He said Wednesday that he was under the impression the Panthers decided to "do away with anybody who is making a significant amount of money" as part of a roster overhaul that's produced the NFL's youngest team.
"That's a business decision. I can understand and respect that," Peppers said. "The problem that I had was they tried to turn the tables and make it look like I wanted out no matter what. Really, I didn't have the option to stay. It was never offered to stay."
Cutler's Status Still Unknown
Bears quarterback Jay Cutler suffered a concussion during Sunday night's loss to the Giants and his status for Week 5 is still in question.
He was limited in practice on Wednesday and didn't talk to reporters.
"[Cutler has] got a meeting [Wednesday] afternoon," Bears offensive coordinator Mike Martz said.
"We practiced him to see how he feels and move him around. He shared some snaps out there, and we gave Todd [Collins] snaps just in case. We'll just see how this goes."
Texans To Sign Mark Anderson
The Texans will sign free-agent defensive end Mark Anderson, according to a league source.
Chicago released Anderson earlier this week in part to make room for signee Charles Grant.
Bears Release Anderson, Sign Grant
The Bears have released defensive end Mark Anderson and signed veteran defensive end Charles Grant to a one-year contract.
Originally a first-round pick of the Saints in 2002, Grant played eight seasons in New Orleans before he was let go in March.
Ditka: Cutler Needs To Get Rid Of The Ball
Bears legend Mike Ditka says that quarterback Jay Cutler needs to get rid of the football quicker.
Cutler suffered a concussion and was sacked nine times by New York on Sunday night, the result of the time he took in the pocket, according to Ditka.
"I don't think anybody was open downfield, because they had seven in coverage, but the quarterback has to get the ball out of his hands, too," Ditka said Monday on "Mike & Mike in the Morning" on ESPN Radio. "He looked like he was not even aware of the pressure around him.
"That's all part of football, the quarterback has to have that little clock in his head that says 'I have to get rid of the football.' Jay Cutler didn't have it yesterday, that's for sure."
