Breshad Perriman: I'll Be 'Worth The Wait'

Aug 24, 2016 1:01 PM

Breshad Perriman completed his first real training camp practice of the season on Tuesday after nearly blowing out his knee in June.

Perriman lost his entire rookie season to a torn PCL and is looking forward to the Baltimore Ravens' Sept. 11 season opener against the Buffalo Bills.

"(I'm) very eager," Perriman said. "It's coming real soon. I know it will be worth the wait."

The wide receiver added: "I don't have any doubt in my mind that I won't be ready. I'm attacking it right now like I will be ready, and I think I will."

Terrance West Pushing For Starting Job With Ravens

Aug 5, 2016 9:00 AM

Terrance West is building a strong case to be the starting running back for the Baltimore Ravens entering the season.

Both the Baltimore Sun and ESPN have lauded West, who slimmed down this offseason, as Baltimore's top playmaker.

West is pushing Justin Forsett and Javorius Allen for snaps.

"I just think he looks good as a football player," John Harbaugh said. "I think 'urgency' is a good word from a physical perspective. His running is urgent. He's making cuts. He's making really good reads. He's quick through the hole, he's quick into the hole. There's no hesitation.

"Also in pass protection, he's stuck it up in there and he's popping people in pass protection. He's doing really well."

Justin Tucker Believes 84-Yard FG Is Possible

Aug 4, 2016 4:04 PM

Justin Tucker, who recently received a four-year, $16.8 million deal from the Baltimore Ravens, believes he's capable of some amazing things.

Tucker believes that in ideal conditions he could hit a field goal longer than 80 yards.

"We think about these things really specifically, if you send me out there you have a reason for it -- because they think I can make a kick," Tucker said Thursday on NFL Network's Good Morning Football.

"To me it doesn't matter where I just have to hit a good ball. If conditions are prime -- like last season, we opened up in Denver, the weather was warm and the field was nice, you're up in altitude so the ball just carries and in pre-game I hit the cross bar from 85. So if the situation is just prime, maybe 84 and a half yards."

The Baltimore Ravens have waived Trent Richardson.

The move may signal the end for the former first-round pick.

Richardson, 26, the No. 3 pick in the 2012 draft, has been on four teams in the past four seasons and has not played in the league since 2014.
