Ohio State running back Chris "Beanie" Wells is scheduled to meet with the Ravens on Tuesday. Wells is also rumored to have meetings set up with the Seahawks, Chargers, Cardinals, Bengals and the Broncos.

James Walker of ESPN.com is reporting that the Ravens are unlikely to sign a big-name wide receiver. Walker specifically mentioned Marvin Harrison and Torry Holt.

The Ravens have officially signed tight end L.J. Smith to a one-year contract. "I had the opportunity to be around L.J. for a number of years in Philadelphia, and there is a comfort level that we have with each other," Baltimore head coach John Harbaugh said. Smith has caught 231 passes for 2,525 yards and 18 touchdowns in 86 regular season games for the Eagles.

The Ravens have reportedly agreed to terms on a one-year deal with tight end L.J. Smith, who has spent his entire career with the Eagles. Smith is visiting Baltimore on Wednesday and could have a deal finalized by the end of the week, pending a physical.

"He tries to bang down in the post. I'm not too small either, so I think I hold my own, but he's definitely got some game. "I actually had played at his house before, and I ran into one of the guys who said they needed some bodies. I'm always looking for a good game."

The Jets on Saturday bolstered their defensive line, agreeing to terms with defensive end Marques Douglas, a person familiar with the contract told The Associated Press.

The Ravens have told cornerback Samari Rolle that they will release him, a source has confirmed. Rolle, who was scheduled to make $4.1 million this season, had requested to be released by the team. He is expected to be placed on waivers within the next few days.

LaDainian Tomlinson was a guest on the Dan Patrick show on Thursday and talked about which teams he considered joining before he agreed to a restructured contract with the Chargers. Tomlinson revealed that he considered the Saints, Ravens and Broncos.

Ravens linebacker Ray Lewis has officially signed his seven-year contract, finalizing the agreement from last week. Lewis is now under contract through the 2015 season. However, the deal includes options in the second and third years.

Ravens general manager Ozzie Newsome told the Baltimore Sun that the team isn't done making moves this offseason. "We're not done yet. I can tell you that," Newsome said. "The phones are still hot."
