Safety Ed Reed and outside linebacker Terrell Suggs were held out of the Baltimore Ravens' final practice of the week with injuries, and both are listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the San Diego Chargers. Ravens coach Brian Billick said the two former Pro Bowl defenders would be gametime decisions.

Running back Reuben Droughns was inactive for the Cleveland's game against the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday with a shoulder injury. Droughns hurt his right shoulder in last week's loss to Cincinnati and was limited during practice this week. He rushed for 1,232 yards last season, the first Browns back to go over 1,000 yards since 1985. He has just 59 yards on 25 carries with one touchdown. Second-year veteran Jason Wright started for Droughns.

Oakland Raiders quarterback Aaron Brooks was removed in the first quarter of Sunday's game against the Baltimore Ravens after injuring his right shoulder. Brooks twice lost fumbled snaps to end Oakland's first two possessions. When Oakland got the ball a third time, Andrew Walter was inserted at quarterback.

The 49ers claimed linebacker Roderick Green off waivers from Baltimore on Sunday before adding five players from training camp to their practice squad. Green, who played all 16 games as a backup for the Ravens last season, will be reunited with 49ers coach Mike Nolan -- his defensive coordinator during his rookie season in 2004. Green can play both inside and outside in Nolan's schemes. "Physically, he is a gifted guy," Nolan said of Green, who has added 20 pounds of muscle since Nolan left Baltimore. "Very strong, and he has been a good pass rusher. I would like for him to be an every-down player, but we will see what he gives us."
