Anquan Boldin says that he will allow his agent to handle his long-running contract dispute with the Cardinals.
"That's irrelevant," Boldin said Thursday when asked if he felt the team was being straight with him. "How I feel isn't going to change a thing."
Almost a year ago Boldin ripped the team and was very vocal about his desire for a better deal. During the offseason, Boldin switched agents from Drew Rosenhaus to Tom Condon.
"Business, that's all," Boldin said of the agent switch. "I still have a great relationship with Drew. My younger brother, a couple of guys I mentor, they're still with Drew, so there's still a great relationship between me and him. I still think he's one of the hardest-working dudes in the business but that was just a business decision."

Brown, Cardinals Reach Four-Year Deal
The Cardinals have agreed on a contract with second-round draft pick Cody Brown of Connecticut.
Terms of the deal were not released on Tuesday.
Brown, a defensive end, recorded 11 sacks, five forced fumbles and a career-high 56 tackles last season.
Whisenhunt: Winning Will End Doubt In Cards
Cardinals coach Ken Whisenhunt says that winning is the only thing that will end skepticism of the team.
"No matter whether it's in Phoenix or around the country," Whisenhunt said, "there's going to be skepticism of us as a team."
Arizona was routed a few times during the regular season in 2008, but surged all the way to the Super Bowl against Pittsburgh this past February.
"I think the only thing that's going to help erase that is sustained success," Whisenhunt said.
Cards-Boldin Talks Still Weeks Away
The Cardinals are several weeks away from holding serious talks with Anquan Boldin about a contract extension.
Cardinals general manager Rod Graves told the Arizona Republic of the timeline.
Graves had preliminary talks with agent Tom Condon this spring.
Ravens Could Target Boldin
The Ravens could revisit talks with the Cardinals about Anquan Boldin in the wake of Derrick Mason's sudden retirement.
Baltimore and Arizona discussed a potential deal prior to the NFL Draft, and talks could rekindle if things get ugly between the Cardinals and Boldin this fall.
Boldin has two years left on his contract.
Dansby Unlikely To Get Extension From Cardinals
The deadline to get franchised linebacker Karlos Dansby a contract extension comes in just a few days.
The chance a new deal is reached by then is unlikely, general manager Rod Graves acknowledged Friday.
?We still hope to reach an agreement on a long-term deal with Karlos,? Graves said. ?But there is a considerable gap in our positions.?
Graves: Extension Unlikely For Dansby
Cardinals general manager Rod Graves said that the club is unlikely to agree to a contract extension with linebacker Karlos Dansby before next week's deadline.
Arizona placed their franchise tag on Dansby, which means the two sides must come to terms on a long-term extension by July 15, or the linebacker will be forced to play under the one-year franchise tender in 2009.
"We still hope to reach an agreement on a long-term deal with Karlos," Graves said. "But there is a considerable gap in our positions."
Cardinals Sign Third-Round Pick To Deal
The Cardinals have signed safety Rashad Johnson, their third-round pick, to a three-year contract.
The signing, which was announced Thursday, leaves only first-round pick running back Beanie Wells and second-round pick linebacker Cody Brown without contract agreements among Arizona's draft picks.
Beanie Wells Has Lost 18 Pounds
Cardinals rookie running back Chris "Beanie" Wells has lost 18 pounds since he began working out with conditioning coach John Lott.
Wells weighed 247 pounds when he began working with Lott, and the trainer estimates that the running back's playing weight will be about 225 pounds.
"I made a promise to (Larry) Fitzgerald, a promise to Kenny (Whisenhunt), a promise to players interested," Lott said of his interest in seeing Beanie break out. "I think this kid has a chance to do something. He's got the tools. ... He could be a beast."
Card's Dockett Says He Won't Hold Out
Arizona defensive tackle Darnell Dockett says he will report to training camp on time despite a contract dispute.
Dockett made the comments on his Twitter page Monday.
"From the first day of training camp and on, I will not let my contract issues distract me or my team from reaching our goals," Dockett wrote. "I also look forward to playing with my teammates and defending our NFC championship title, and I am looking forward to a great season."
Dockett has three years remaining on his contract, but wants a new deal and didn't participate in the team's voluntary workout this summer.
