The Los Angeles Chargers broke ground on their new headquarters in El Segundo on Wednesday.

The 14-acre site is slated for completion in July 2024.

"It's been five years in the making. We finally have our home for the future. This is our home now," Dean Spanos said.

Kyle Van Noy signed with the Los Angeles Chargers on Thursday.

The New England Patriots released Van Noy in March, ending his second tenure with the franchise, to clear about $4.1 million in salary-cap space.

Van Noy, 31, had signed a two-year, $12 million contract with the Patriots in March of 2021 (with $6 million guaranteed) after he was released by the Miami Dolphins.
