Rams Will Play Puka Nacua Until He Breaks Rookie Receiving Record

Jan 4, 2024 9:18 AM

The Los Angeles Rams are resting Matthew Stafford in Week 18, but Puka Nacua will be on the field.

It appears as though Nacua will play until he breaks the rookie receiving record.

"I think you'd like to be able to see him get an opportunity to do something special and then be smart with him," Sean McVay said.

He needs only 29 yards to break the single-season receiving yardage record for rookies, set by Bill Groman of the Houston Oilers in 1960.
