Aug 18, 2016 8:30 AM

Deshaun Watson, viewed as a potential top pick in 2017, is now financially protected in the event of an injury.

Clemson has paid for a pair of $5 million insurance policies. One of the policies would pay out if Watson suffered a career-ending injury, while the other policy would pay Watson if an injury forces his draft stock to plunge.

"It gives me peace of mind," Watson said.

Leonard Fournette In Walking Boot After Spraining Ankle

Aug 16, 2016 3:01 PM

Leonard Fournette is in a walking boot after suffering a sprained ankle during LSU's scrimmage on Tuesday.

He suffered the injury when a teammate landed on the back of his leg during the scrimmage, and Miles classified the injury as minor.

"Fournette got a slight sprain and is in a boot, and so we're getting some of the healing going," Miles said. "I don't know [when he'll be back] at this point, but I know it's not. ... In his words, he'll be fine."

Fournette is a Heisman Trophy candidate and is projected to be the top running back selected in the 2017 NFL Draft.
