The Buccaneers have agreed to terms with on a five-year contract with first-round draft pick Gerald McCoy and also reached a six-year deal with restricted free agent left tackle Donald Penn.
Tampa Bay general manager Mark Dominik announced the developments Saturday as the club opened training camp.
McCoy signed a five-year, $63.42 million contract that included $35 million in guaranteed money, according to a league source.

Buccaneers Sign Rookie Brian Price
The Buccaneers have signed rookie Brian Price to a four-year deal.
Price, a second-round pick, becomes the highest-drafted player to sign thus far.
"I'm glad my agent got the deal done, so now I can concentrate on having a great training camp," Price said in a statement released by the team.
"I'm looking forward to contributing to the Buccaneers' dominant defensive tradition."
Gerald McCoy Waiting On Bradford's Deal
Tampa Bay's Gerald McCoy is watching with interest as Sam Bradford negotiates his first contract with the Rams.
McCoy wants to get into training camp on time in two weeks.
He was selected two picks after Bradford in the draft and he doesn't think his contract talks with the Buccaneers will heat up until Bradford's deal is done.
McCoy's Contract Tied To Former Teammate Bradford
Gerald McCoy's desire to get to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' training camp on time in two weeks also hinges heavily on how long it takes his former college teammate, Sam Bradford, to sign his own deal.
McCoy was selected two picks after Bradford in the draft and he doesn't think his contract talks with the Bucs will heat up until Bradford's deal is done. He said Saturday night that he's "waiting on King Sam."
"I would love to be there on time. But it's also one of those situations where while an opportunity presents itself for you to get paid, you need to get as much as you can," McCoy said before throwing out the first pitch at an Triple-A Oklahoma City RedHawks minor league baseball game.
"It's nothing like, 'I'm worth this much.' You get as much money as you can while it's there because you never know what could happen."
Bucs Sign Vincent To Two-Year Deal
The Buccaneers have signed former Panthers guard Keydrick Vincent to a two-year contract.
Vincent was an unrestricted free agent.
He is scheduled to make $4.5 million over the two years, a source told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter
Bucs Revert To West Coast Scheme For Freeman
The Buccaneers decision to revert to a West Coast offensive scheme is in part to help young quarterback Josh Freeman.
Freeman has a big arm and accuracy issues, but the team feels he's at his best working in a scheme with mostly short, crossing routes.
Of the 291 throws Freeman made last year, 25 of them were thrown to a receiver waiting behind the line of scrimmage and 148 of them were thrown to a receiver running less than 10 yards downfield.
That works out to a completion percentage of 64.7 and a passer rating of 88 on what was more than likely a lot of traditional West Coast type of plays.
