Dolphins Finished 2nd In Bid For Jimmy Graham

The Miami Dolphins reportedly finished second in trading for Jimmy Graham with the New Orleans Saints.

Graham was traded to the Seattle Seahawks at the start of the offseason.

The Dolphins instead signed Jordan Cameron at tight end.

Graham played basketball and football at the University of Miami.

Charles Clay has signed a five-year, $38 million contract with the Buffalo Bills.

The Miami Dolphins will have five days to match the offer.

The deal includes $20 million in guaranteed money.

The Dolphins are unlikely to match the offer as they've already signed Jordan Cameron at tight end this offseason.

Vikings Trade For Mike Wallace

The Minnesota Vikings have traded for Mike Wallace from the Miami Dolphins.

Wallace has caught at least 60 passes in each of the past five seasons for at least 836 yards.

Wallace led the NFL with a per-catch average of 19.4 yards as a rookie, catching 39 passes for 756 yards with six touchdowns in starting four of the 16 games he played.

Kenny Stills Traded By Saints To Dolphins

The New Orleans Saints have agreed to trade Kenny Stills to the Miami Dolphins.

Stills was a fifth round pick out of Oklahoma by the Saints in 2013.

Stills had 63 catches for 931 yards and three touchdowns in 2014.

The Saints previously traded away Jimmy Graham this week.

Jordan Cameron Signs Two-Year, $15M Deal With Dolphins

Jordan Cameron has agreed to sign with the Miami Dolphins on a two-year, $15 million deal.

Reports had indicated on Thursday that Cameron had agreed to re-sign with the Cleveland Browns.

Cameron had his best year in 2013 when he caught 80 receptions. Last season, Cameron missed five games due to concussion issues and one with a shoulder injury.

 

The Dolphins still have the transition tag on tight end Charles Clay, who is free to negotiate with other teams. Miami also can rescind the tag at any time.

Stephen Ross told the media that the Miami Dolphins didn't make a second effort in 2015 to land Jim Harbaugh as head coach.

The Dolphins pursued Harbaugh in 2011.

Harbaugh ended up at Ross' alma mater Michigan.

"Forget what the press said," Ross said of Harbaugh, per the Detroit Free Press. "We didn't try for him here."

The Dolphins continue to have Joe Philbin as head coach.
