Dolphins Release Brian Hartline

Feb 27, 2015 11:53 AM

The Miami Dolphins have released Brian Hartline.

The veteran wideout was due $5.9 million in 2015. The move saves Miami $3.15 million against the salary cap. The 28-year-old signed a five-year, $30.775 million contract in 2013.

Hartline's role diminished in 2014 with the emergence of Jarvis Landry, catching just 39 passes for 474 yards and two touchdowns.

Dolphins Attempting To Trade Mike Wallace

Feb 26, 2015 12:43 PM

The Miami Dolphins are not prepared yet to cut Mike Wallace as they search for a trade.

Wallace's trade value was perhaps best represented by Ravens owner Steve Bisciotti's recent comments on Torrey Smith's free agency prospects.

"Mike Wallace got $10 million," Bisciotti said, "I don't think anyone thinks that was a good deal."

Wallace is due $9.85 million in 2015 as part of a five-year, $60 million deal.

The wide receiver market is strong in both free agency and in the draft this offseason.
