Mike Wallace has been impressed by the play of second-year quarterback Ryan Tannehill.

"I think he's a really good player. I think he's ahead of where I thought he would be," said Wallace. "He's a smart player. Whatever it is, the hype and stuff we've been getting the past week or two, he's like, 'I don't care about it.'  He's the same guy. He goes to work and prepares the same way. I think that's going to make him a very good player. He doesn't get caught up in the hype. He continues back to work and worries about what he did wrong. He's not worried about the good throws he made, he's worried about the ones he missed. As long as our quarterback is working like that, we'll be fine."

The Miami Dolphins improved to 2-0 with a 24-20 win at the Indianapolis Colts.

The Dolphins had a +0.3 advantage in the Trench Counter, averaging 8.7 yards per pass and committing no penalties in the game. The Colts had a +1 edge in Total Rushes/Completions.

Ryan Tannehill went 33-for-34 for 319 yards and one touchdown to Mike Wallace.

Lamar Miller bounced back from an ineffective Week 1 with 14 carries for 69 yards and one touchdown.

Andrew Luck went 25-for-43 for 321 yards, one touchdown and an interception while rushing four times for 38 yards. T.Y. Hilton caught six balls for 124 yards.

Dion Jordan touted his record against Andrew Luck and Stanford during his time at Oregon. Jordan was on the field for two blowouts by the Ducks against Stanford while Luck was at the school.

Jordan's Miami Dolphins play Luck's Indianapolis Colts in Week 2.

Jordan was the No. 3 overall pick in the 2013 NFL Draft.

"Yeah, me and Luck know each other pretty well," Jordan told reporters this week. "I never lost to Andrew Luck. I don't plan on it."

The Miami Dolphins defeated the Cleveland Browns by a final score of 23-10.

Ryan Tannehill went 24-for-38 for 272 yards for one touchdown and one interception. Tannehill found Brian Hartline nine times for 114 yards and the touchdown.

Brandon Weeden went 26-for-52 for one touchdown and three interceptions. Trent Richardson rushed 13 times for just 47 yards.

Ricky Williams routinely smoked marijuana on the evening before NFL games, according to former teammate Channing Crowder.

“Remember that Buffalo game, the 200-yard game?” Crowder said. “Smoked the night before. Talk to Ricky. He was doing it, that’s what he did. Ricky has social anxiety and he smoked weed. Ricky’s marijuana didn’t affect the team until he got caught smoking. . . . Him smoking weed, sitting at his house smoking weed, didn’t affect anybody but Ricky. He got high and then he sobered up and then he went to practice the next day.”

NFL players are tested for marijuana just once per year.
